i wouldn't so much worry about my palms - I guess I don't have any pix up of the light i sometimes do, catching one lit torch in my hand to light the other. Its on the demo video.

I don't think it would work, because anything heavy enough not to be flammable wouldn't wind up the way the string has to, in order to make a yo-yo work.

closest thing I've seen is maybe a fire diablo, you know those hippie things that are made up of a big disc spun on a line between two handles, and sometimes thrown and caught? one time I saw a guy doing that, with wicks sticking out of the center of the disc. it was pretty crazy, he was good enough that he could throw it way up..

I still think the chocolate sauce is a better idea.. ;)
