This week @ LaunchPad in Oakland, Fyrestorm & Circus Pandemonium are doing a joint show Thurs, Jan 5, 7pm and Friday, Jan 6, 9 pm (see http://launchpad.tribe.net for more details) 5$ donation

There will also be a space for renegade firedancing/drumming/musical jam session later in the evening/afterparty.

LaunchPad is at 3833 MLK Jr Way, (cross st MacArthur)
a block west of MacArthur BART station

Possible new toy...

Anyone here ever try to make flaming yo-yo's? Thought it would make a flashy stage gimmick, but I don't know if it's been done or can be done. I'm thinking of thin chains with some sort of stop near the top, so the yo-yo doesn't go all the way to the top and to your palms.

media sightings

Fyrestorm has appeared in music videos, made a cameo on a talk show, & been in newspapers and some Burning Man and Crucible-related stuff.

If anybody sees us mentioned or appearing in the media out there, please do post it here. Its good to have this stuff, for the website/promo materials..

Alwys looking for new images, so
if anybody out there has any pix or video of any Fyrestorm shows or cameos, please let me know (or you can even upload into this tribe space, in the case of digital pix).

Also, if you're a visual artist interested in shooting (or somehow rendering) us or shows, please let me know.

comp animators, I have a fantasy project I've had in the back of my head for awhile.. love to talk..
